Of interest to us with old Morgans is the statement that
"the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001 (Amended). Regulation 6 specifies that a number plate must be fixed to the front of any vehicle registered after 01/10/38."
Could it mean that all vehicles prior to 1/10/38 do not require a front number plate? That seems unlikely, or maybe just motor cycles and motor tricycles? Interesting to me as owner of two pre-'38 three wheelers, but academic as I have front number plates and am not bothered one way or the other. It does make one doubt the DVLA's ability to explain the legislation in an unambiguous manner.
