I swap mine about with my other cars to keep the tyres round, so not a daily driver.
Once you plug the gaps it's as dry as any other car.
Not a 4 but I have the mohair in black easy up (easy down too!)
I use it in whatever weather, I keep it treated with Fabsil Gold liquid (I use a little roller to apply) apart from that a brush and an occasional wash.
Aircon would be nice but I bought mine 3rd hand so took what was optioned.
