I've used a roadster and a 4/4 as daily drivers. As stated above, once you've plugged the gaps they're fine. Also forces one to not be shy of using hood. For me personally, vinyl easy up is most efficient, but I agree that it doesn't look so good.
Do it, you'll love it. And you get better and better at driving it, which is part of the appeal. In normal cars, once I get to know how they handle I get bored and start looking for a replacement.with a mog there's always something new to learn.
