My '63 +4-4STR has been reliable as any 55 year old car could be. Bought in 1994 it has seen many road miles including a trip to Le Mans. As it aged and parts wore out, they were replaced or rebuilt. Aftermarket Parts were not as good as the Original. The requirements for a Morgan to exist in the Western U.S. is a bit different than England. Long Hot Miles is the norm. Very steep Mountains to climb. Coming home from a trip to New Orleans, Montreal, Nova Scotia and Bar Harbor I was between 94 and 104 MPH in the Dakotas and Montana for hours. Long, good Highways. If I did not go that fast the Big Trucks would have run Me down. To do this successfully with an old +4 I had to become a Road Mechanic. Carry the necessary parts and use AAA. Same as AA in England
