I guess it depends on the extent of what you want done, and what level of finish you're looking for; thus how much specific Morgan Expertise is required. If you're looking for concours, of course you should entrust it to a specialist.

If it is essentially repainting and re-trimming, might you not find someone on the island ? You could get any parts you required shipped to you by, say, Melvyn Rutter (who has a vast stock of parts for old models). I would imagine that you could save yourself €5 to €6K by not shipping to the US or UK and back.

A quick trawl on google showed a link to a place called Unique Ride in Curacao - OK it seems to specialize in US custom cars, but then custom places often have good skill sets. Even if it's they're not suitable, maybe they could point you towards suitable artisans. It would have the added benefit that you'd be contributing to the local economy and making friends and useful contacts with folk on the island.
