We had a couple of Porsche Macans as course cars at Prescott this weekend.
While I only rode in the diesel (with a 911 C4 owning Clerk of Course) I was impressed with the performance and comfort. Apart from a red line a little below 6,000 rpm it drove like a petrol. Even the clerk I was shadowing was impressed with it, which worried him as he's a died-in-the-wool 911 pilot
has a Macan S - petrol and it does drive very well and has held its price brilliantly, it's now due for replacement and looking around for something similar, she does not see anything that ticks the same boxes, despite me championing an Audi RS3 as having four-wheel drive too!
