Their really stupid marketing policies are not going to help either. I have just been looking at the specs of the American model of the XE. I comes to an even higher level of fitment than the UK model plus it has a 5 year 60,000 mile warranty. Most models for the European market are speced down so you have to pay for options to bring them up to the same spec and they finish up costing at least 10% more.

I'm pretty p...d off with JLR at the moment and it is not helped by the fact that one option I should have ordered can only be fitted during construction.

I really feel deluded and taken for a ride on this issue and I really don't know that I would buy another JLR product. You would think that they would try to be more competetive, not less, in the big EU market right on their doorstep.

Having said all that it is a matter of mixed feelings as I quite enjoy driving the car.
