For what it's worth, I had a stuck starter solenoid on my Aero 8. After replacing the bosch starter with a new one, my vampire electrical draw disappeared completely. I can now leave the Morgan for a couple weeks without a charger, and it fires right up on the first try. Your milage may vary, but it's worth looking at. Perhaps Morgan got a bad batch of starters.
That is something i was not aware of.
