Be careful with replacement headlights as they can cause an MOT fail if you have not met all the regulations. For example: I am lucky to be very friendly with my local MOT shop, who I have used for over 15 years. I had replaced the original halogen bulbs on my rally 911 RSR with HID mechanical dipping bulbs. Apparently these are only legal if you either have self levelling rear suspension (my Ohlins rear struts are self levelling) or like my later 997, electrically self adjusting level headlights AND head light washers. They let me get away with it, as it is only used for rallying and nearly all road mileage is on a trailer.
