Actually it's neither pre-war nor post war. The DVLA website shows it as having been first registered in February 1940, and I seem to remember the war (in Europe) started five months before that! It is also a bit odd that the car hasn't been taxed in the UK since December 2015 - even though it is tax exempt it still requires the zero rated tax to be applied for.
