After the Albert Ball Memorial run this year I’ve had several requests to do it again next year.
Originally we hadn’t planned to make it an annual event but maybe go every 5th year. However it’s a good excuse for a weekend in France so here goes!
I’m thinking of a more casual event for Fri 4th–Sun 6th May. I realise this is the Bank Holiday weekend but there are already other events either side which limit our options.
We’d base ourselves in or nearish to St Omer, arriving Fri for an afternoon run.
Saturday a run to the coast or local attractions (the hill climb that Ian Parkinson found last year sounded good).
On Sunday a morning run to Annœullin to pay our respects then a local lunch and dispersal back to blighty.
Please let me know if you’re interested and I’ll then start checking hotel options.
