As it is a 3 wheeler, the front suspension is very visible and already powder coated. I guess that the sticky coating is a Waxoyl type protective that could be removed with a rag and some WD40 or similar. That will leave a little bit of protective in place in the corners where corrosion usually starts but not enough to cause dirt etc. to stick to it. It was probably put there for transit protection, to be removed as part of the PDI.
