Try crossing the Arctic Circle!
King Neptune appears and pours a mixture of freezing water and ice cubes down your back, (and in winter the air temperature can be a bracing -10 or lower)
No fish to kiss , just a spoonful of cod liver oil! (Remember that from post war childhood?)
On another cruise we went up to Spitzbergen and through the Arctic Circle.....
Cold. No....chuffing freezing,
Luckily King Neptune was on a Carribean cruise! I don’t fancy kissing an arctic char!
