Morgans are now an older person’s aspirational car and are far too expensive to attract the sort of person who would buy Spitfires, MGB’s and Sprite/ Midgets back in the 60’s. Even the excellent MX 5’s seem to be driven by retirees. I don’t think many youngsters yearn for a sportscar nowadays. They are driven by those reviving their lost youth. At 74 I drive a Jag F Type which now appears to be an old man’s car!
