Wonder why such things don't annoy me as much as e.g. "I, personally" - that really gets on my nerves...
BBC standards have definitely dropped to match the rest of the world... Use of such tautology by politicians is normal - would not expect them to know any better, they have to pad out their unnecessary statements (read: BS) somehow...
