You're wrong there for sure, though likely you would get a bigger discount for finance
I was referring to the 10% discount you can get on most cars these days - maybe more. Although with dealers being obliged to maintain a stock of new models which I presume they have to finance they could be tempted to offer semi generous inducements to purchasers.
