The passenger side storage might be a go idea but the driver side will surely make tight or rub on your leg...its a very tight area.
Yes, I'm re-thinking the driver-side. The clutch operation, if you have wide shoes, may turn out to be a problem. Had it out for a long ride on Saturday though and didn't have an issue yet, but the jury is still out.
