My wiper blades (2005 4/4) have little black plastic caps at the ends. I have lost two, presumably when washing the car. I guess they are there to reduce the likelihood of scratching the screen should the blade flatten out, but they don't seem to be a very tight fit. Do they matter? Does anyone know where I can find replacements - I can't see them listed in the usual places (Rutters, Heart of England)?

Like a few other posters, I silicone them on!

PS You don't even have to wash the car to lose them. If, as sometimes happens, the end of the blade moves over the screen frame, that will dislodge them- no trouble!
