SVC are excellent, but if you don't fancy forking out £40 for a new pair of lights, you could do what I did - take out the brass insert, drill out the square hole to M5, and bung an M3 rivnut in its place. Then you can replace the BA threaded screws with stainless M3 Allen bolts.
