Where are you in Germany? I have very good friends who live at Rendsburg, Ingo imported a RHD UK Plus Eight that had been in a Swedish collection for 19 years.
He had some difficulties with the TUV on all sorts of things; one was the TUV rule that states that the side windows must be glass. He overcame all this bureaucracy and now has a legal RHD Morgan that he has owned for about 5 years.
