Here's a note I got from Jill at Moto-Lita. I still am not sure how to go. An asymmetrical wheel with the flat at the bottom sounds like a logical way to gain clearance from the leg bind. Also, a small amount of dish, as opposed to flat, seems like it makes sense to gain clearance from the signal stalks. Anyway, see below from Moto Lita. Thanks to all! :
"For a Morgan 4/4 1982 we suggest either our Mark 4 leather rim (or Mark 3 laminated wood rim with rivets) or our Offset wheel leather or wood rim, all in 14". The offset wheel has the spokes offset so that it sits giving more leg room and better instrument visibility. Price for the leather or laminated wood rim offset wheel is £199.00, whereas the Mark 3 and Mark 4 wheels are £145.00. The boss you need to fit the wheel is a B25B and is £54.00 in black or can be polished for an extra £18.00. There is a choice of centres depending on whether it is just a cap, or a horn control which can be view in our Accessories section on our website for prices and styles. Prices are plus shipping, and VAT if applicable."
