Why this is not being addressed with technology to a higher degree when we have this moment to make a change is beyond me. No doubt they are working out which external agency they can give £1bn to in order to tell them to do it correctly. After all doing it in under two years is impossible.

Issue them all with the Oerlikons from the other thread. That would probably cost less and certainly discourage the illegal immigrants and returning ISIS fighters that want to use the small ports and airfields.
