Hi Stewart - after being off TM for a little while just seen your recent post regarding lowering the front number plate. I did this a little while ago (on a 2014 Plus 4 over-rider version) and posted details on what I did (see

Apart from lowering the front number plate by 3 cm or so (which does make the front look better, more 'balanced'? in my view) the mod also significantly stiffened up the over-rider arrangement and has (so far!) prevented any further debris hitting the bottom of the rad.
