I'm not sure whether I'm highlighting two separate issues that I would appreciate some advice and guidance on or they are one and the same thing. Let me explain ; I decided today to give my car ( a Plus 4 GDI model) having been laid up for month in a dehumidified garage, a good blast to blow the cobwebs off. On exiting the garage there was a small pool of red stained water on the garage floor ( the colour of the coolant in the overflow tank) set well back from the radiator dead central and at the very rear of the engine.
I returned from a good drive and took the attached 2 photos which i hope have appeared ok which show a reddish/ rust coloured stain coming from a plug again at the very rear of the engine. Any thoughts please.
