I've ridden a short distance in the back of one, and found it claustrophobic.


My thinking was based on potential carriage of children / grand children - on reflection you are right, unless you are 6’ an adult could well feel claustrophobic in one. The “Range Rover that has been sat on by an elephant” styling becomes impractical - I wonder if the good folks at JLR saw 2 people families who only use the rear seat infrequently as their primary market?
