I had a sports exhaust fitted to Merlin (1.8 Zetec) before Christmas and noticed some improvement. Fitted a K&N filter after Christmas and have only been able to take it out for a run a couple of weeks ago. The engine seemed to be very lumpy above 3000rpm on the motorway. Haven’t had chance to check it out again. If it continues I’ll try it out without the K&N again to see if that is causing the issue.
Thoughts anyone?
