S & S service manual states .035-.045" withe a torque setting of 11-18ft/lbs and anti seize compound on the threads.
I checked mine today at .045" so closed them up to .040" middle limit.
Started in less than 1 revolution.
Its almost back together again now.
I put new NGK Iridium plugs in today with .040 gap which is also what NGK say.
Prior to changing it took 10 secs turning, 5 rest, 10 turning, 5 rest then fired after another 7-8 seconds.
With the new plugs it fired immediately.
Before I get too carried away I'll see how it starts first thing tomorrow morning.
