It was a great outing. Libby and I really enjoyed it. Many thanks for organising, Chris and Gerald. Icing on the cake, we made it all the way back to Oxford on the Sunday without any hitches! The countryside and small villages around Salisbury are really beautiful. I would recommend where we stayed, The Beckford Arms, in Fonthill Gifford, the other side of Salisbury. It’s set in the Fonthill Estate and the food is really good.
