Thanks for all the replies to my previous posting and the advice contained therein.
I have been along to Paul Harris Tyres this morning and at his recommendation had a set of Vredestein Quatrac 5 fiited and balanced. Paul really is a specialst when it comes to wire wheels and I can thoroughly recommend his service. I will let you know how I get on with the tyres when I have put them through their paces.
