I could go off this thread topic. Winter is still wagging its tail here in Toronto. There was a crew out putting up boardwalks to provide the summer patios for a couple of the restaurants and bars on the street where my office is. Talking to one of the guys on my way to a coffee shop this morning, he remarked that this is the first time that he can remember having to shovel snow off the pavement so they can put the decking out.
It's promising to get up into double figures after the weekend, but the temperature is still resolutely below freezing overnight at the moment, and a bitter breeze is keeping the "feels-like" temperature at only a few degrees above zero even in the sunshine. Boo.
