For a trad your mount needs to be in keeping, so I suggest a piece of ash. Suitably varnished and attached with countersunk brass screws . Somehow a go pro doesn't fit in with the flying jacket, deerstalker and string backed gloves.
Then you just need to secure your Bolex 16mm onto the ash mount!
