I think you'll find that the Mulfab kit can be fitted in an hour or so by anyone vaguely competent with a set of spanners and that there are about 8 different variations dependent on model and year, that you have to accomodate for in manufacture

Whereas the Ford Escort kit requires careful stripping of the car, detailed measuring and fitting, quality welding, and then reassembly but it fits both Mk1 and Mk2 Escort 2 and 4 door shells of which thousands were made.

So £185 + an hour or so's labour, paid or otherwise vs £59 + at least a day, and probably more skilled labour at £50 and upwards an hour
