It's that time of year again frown I really wasn't amused by the renewal which came through from my current company, but it appears they are actually pretty competitive despite loading my premium by nearly 90% frown And that's with limited mileage and a stupidly high excess.

So, for various reasons, I know next year I won't be able to do many miles in the Mog so I'm contemplating SORNing the car. However if the car gets stolen whilst uninsured, I'm assuming that it won't be covered by anything? (I can't see my house insurance covering it somehow laugh2 ). Is there such a thing as zero-mileage car insurance? I don't want to take the risk of not having any cover for the car however I also don't want to be paying over a grand for insurance on a car which won't move...
