They are not very impressive, all the same little boxes.
Blimey, you're not wrong! I accept that not everyone wants the same level of "character" that our cottage has (not a straight wall in the house), but I'd want something a good deal more attractive than that for half a million quid. You'd have to be dead friendly as well to want to live that close to your neighbours with no privacy.
