Two bolts went sideways and embedded into the neoprene. Two bolts just sheered and the main bodies are still in the aluminum. The rest left. The middle of the belt has depressions in the center where all of these things are but we decided to leave the belt on as it did not effect the strength of the belt in any fashion. They asked if they should replace it but I and they felt that this was not critical. A bolt going through the outer layer where the strength is needed would be another thing. One of our members had a rock do that and it deserved a change out.

The steel sprocket is just as quiet as the Super Max. It is also more than twice as heavy! I did not detect any difference in the driving. I really don't hear the bevel box but I do hear the air from the belt as it moves it through the teeth of the front and rear sprockets. I am hopeful. The front sprocket on the bevel box is stock and merely looks polished and not worn.

As an aside, we also swapped out the left and right-hand muffler pipes as the left had cracked at the forward bracket totally around the shell and only the internal baffle was holding in on. The right had cracks starting so off it came. I was fortunate in that they had a black set of take offs that they were willing to let go of at a reasonable price (cheap!) so that was done in less than 45 minutes. All of this took place in less than four hours so I am pleased.
