On my 2003 4/4 the rails are carpeted. Is this feature on anyone else’s car; or is it another oddity of Stanley?
Quite normal, even current cars are supplied from the factory with two carpet offcuts & the dealer then fits if the customer wants them covered
I think they are not covered by the factory so the chassis number is not concealed
