I had a set on my previous 2.0L 4/4 Anniversary and I didn't like them at all. They were half worn, which may have made a difference, but we came back from holiday over the Scottish Highlands in torrential rain, and they were a real handful, especially when crossing running water. Because the Morgan was agile and with modest power, it was OK, but needed ultimate concentration, and sometimes it felt like we were floating on the surface.........

Although I didn't want a set on my current Plus 4 for that reason, a long story resulted in me having a set. Bear in mind that there are different compounds, I think three. Visually these tyres differ from the previous set in that the centre groove is zigzag, whereas before it was straight. I don't know if the compound is different but I suspect it is. Because these tyres are very different in the wet. We've done a lot of miles in torrential rain and not once have they felt like the previous set.

I don't think it's down to one zigzag groove, but I do suspect a different compound. They have remarkable grip in the dry, and I'm very happy with them in the wet............
