Wish I had one fitted a couple of years ago when the MOT tester backed the car off his ramp and caught the cross member with a loud bang & bit of buckling. He didn’t mention it either. I discovered the damage some time later. For future reference the ramp had a moveable trolly section on it that is just a bit too high.
The car has been on the ramp again, you can note it clears with no one in it but with a driver seated it catches the lip of the U section.
Maybe a point to note.
