It may be that the dealer in question use a finance company to fund their stock. Its common with bigger dealer groups where cash flow is an issue. From personal experience I'd have thought the likes of Allon White and BHM would be very happy to help.
He mentioned it was RTCC (Richard Thorne) Andy, it does seem very odd. I guess it is worth speaking to BHM etc then if RTCC have this limitation.
