I was being VERY careful... the rear ZZ3s are from 2012, down t 1mm above the wear bars and if nothing else the first run up the hill confirmed the need for new rubber!
the 2nd and 3rd runs were faster...but the backs spun up on the start even at 3000 rpm in 2nd.....!!

I've ordered Michelin Pilot Sport S tyres. Should have them next week!


You will be surprised at the extra traction these will give you. Especially in the wet! I'm still cautious but tonight in the pouring rain clean get away from the lights in 1st gear, slight wiggle but hey gotta have some fun grin2 I have put 10k on mine now, the original Conti's lasted 11k! That might of been my fault oops
