As with all EV’s the range and Li ion battery issues are the barriers.
There are safety issues with Li ion batteries re their flaring up when punctured...go to you tube!
Also the environmental and social problems of mining and disposal of Lithium. A bit like diesel where known negatives were conveniently ignored until a future time when they come to the fore.
Roll on hydrogen fuel cells.
I bet some will find issues to be ignored there too!
