Well more than half way. Time for a little update.
The car has been superb- no hiccups ... although it’s now frustratingly dusty. Lovely clear D roads most of the time - and seeking to avoid the cameras. We are using maps.me for navigation and the cameras are well listed.
After the push south La Rochelle was lovely - including an explore of Ile de Re. We have slowed off to explore the Dordogne. A couple of pleasant nights at Sarlat-la-Canéda at a place recommended through TM and a new get at St Nexans - La Chartreuse de Bignac. Superb. One of the nicest means I have ever eaten. We then had two nights at Bordeaux- Les Sources de Caudalie... very special including vineyard exploration and wine tasting.
We are now South to Mont de Marsan - a nice stop at Hotel Mirasol ... Biarritz Tommie! Then Sian!
