If you wore carpet slippers and drove as if were delivering a bucket full of custard you would easily better 50mpg in a 4/4 Sport - the important point as far as I'm bothered is that you can brim the tank in the morning and drive as hard and fast as you like all day and not have to worry about re fuelling until the next day - a 500 mile range makes the 4/4 a brilliant tourer
Flipping heck, thats good, I have only managed 300 miles out of my old '88 4/4. Mind you I probably had another 7 litres to go when I couldn't bear the sight of the fuel gauge reading empty any longer
