Yes I can understand that Heinz, similar stories here when the Range Rover reached 3 tonnes - they went aluminium all of a sudden on the strength of fuel economy they said. Quite what the truth was I guess we will never know, I told my family to avoid hitting one and take to the ditch if you have the choice as at least that way you are likely to survive albeit injured.
I'm not up to speed with the battery cars here I'm afraid although I should be, I tend to look the other way.
