Thanks for that. I had thought of just not using a seat like you do, as it will only be for very short journeys but am concerned that a "jobsworth" policeman could have me up for not using a child safety device of some description. The Britax high back booster seat I looked at, has also now been withdrawn, after a poor review on Which. I might take my Morgan to Halfords in Brighton, who have a wide range of booster seats and see what seems to fit.
