Dear Morgan and M3W friends today is a tragic day.
Our good friend Gerald Lawford ( SN Mog) was on the M4 travelling down to Somerset to stay with us prior to our trip to the Lake District. When he failed to arrive at our house we called his mobile. it was answered by the motorway police who said it appeared Gerald had felt unwell and pulled over to the hard shoulder, where he suffered a massive heart attack. Despite the Motorway being closed for the Air Ambulance to land and Gerald being airlifted to hospital he could not be saved.
To say that Maria and I are devastated is an understatement.
Gerald was a true friend to us and many of you guys.
God rest his soul. We shall NEVER forget him.
