Of course, I didn’t put the two together because the reports says crashed into a lorry, and Ian’s post didn’t mention Gerald was in his Mog

I’m guessing the News media assumed it was a crash unless the policeman that spoke to Ian didn’t want to reveal the full circumstance of the tragedy


I suspect the Traffic Officer would have to have been very guarded as Ian is not next of kin and certainly would not have wanted to cause any further distress.
