I have John Taylor's mirrors,
www.morganhoods.com, as in Miscellany. They have superb clarity, not overly convex and give a much better view than the standard flat ones. I've not noticed any visual 'magnifying' effects either.
His latest 'ad' doesn't mention mirrors any more and I know he did a trial run of them and has recently re-located. Worth contacting him though. I think they were £23 plus p&p.
