Too bad about the loss of the drivetrain suppliers, but actually it is very good news for those who were in line to buy the first units out. If we have learned anything about new models from the M3W experience, it is that Morgan's engineering of new models is actually not complete for 4 or 5 years after the model's release date, during which time it uses new customer experiences and money to track down and solve the engineering details that would have been better solved before public sales. I love these cars and own several, and I guess Morgan acts the way it does because it doesn't have the resources or critical mass to do it the right way.
In any event, I will never again be first in line for a new model. I will wait a couple years after they are out to order the electric version of the three wheeler.
