Worked well for me with an early Roadster, the power supply is already there tucked up behind the dash

Several suppliers on Ebay offering Smiths clocks for around £60. They look same as factory ones and keep time well. Plenty of room behind dash to enable varying positioning. Wiring loom (certainly on 2011 models) already has generous length wires for clock supply and backlight holder. Drill hole with 50mm holesaw, running slowly in reverse first to avoid chipping veneer. Hole may be a bit tight but the last mm or so, easily finished off and widened out with a flap wheel abrasive.

Thanks for that Deejay, I’m ok with the cutting side, I’m a carpenter and joiner by trade so I’m quite used to hole saws and routers etc, but when it comes to the wiring, I’m not so good....

Wiring is a doddle as the correct size spade terminals and lamp holder are already attached to the loom. The positive and earth leads have different sizes so you cant go wrong.
